Global Executive EdD program director, Sabrina Chong, and assistant director, Alondra Morales, completed the following questionnaire.
What do you most value in friends?
Sabrina: A shoulder to lean on.
Alondra: Support, which looks different with each friendship.
What is your favorite color?
Sabrina: It depends on my mood, but teal or purple.
Alondra: I love pinks! Currently, it’s mauve pink.
Which talent would you most like to have?
Sabrina: The ability to be invisible, closely followed by the ability to fly.
Alondra: I wish I could sing!
What is your motto?
Sabrina: “Don’t be late and don’t get arrested,” and “Comparison is the thief of joy.”
Alondra: Everything happens for a reason.
Where would you like to live?
Sabrina: I would love to split the year into three; I’d live in Paris from February to June, Los Angeles from June to October, and Hong Kong from October to February.
Alondra: If we’re talking location: Madrid, Spain. I’d also be just as happy living in a home with a huge play room that overlooks a yard where I can watch my kids and dogs play from the kitchen while I cook.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?
Sabrina: The moment before I fall asleep.
Alondra: Laughing with my son, Leonardo.
What is your favorite occupation (pastime)?
Sabrina: SLEEP! Ha! When I’m awake, it’s cooking.
Alondra: I love binge watching shows, especially crime and cooking shows.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Sabrina: Surviving through the process of purchasing a home, then earning my Ed.D. degree!
Alondra: Traveling to 12 countries – 3 of which I traveled to on my own.
Who are your favorite writers?
Sabrina: John Steinbeck and Gustave Flaubert.
Alondra: Sandra Cisneros.
